Corey Wetherington and Scott Wagner Chosen for the 2020 Best Emerging Technology Application Award Sponsored by Chatstaff and LibraryH3lp

                                                          

Established in 2019, the ETS Best Emerging Technology Application Award offers $3,000 to an individual or group in recognition of a technology application that directly benefits library users. This award is sponsored by Chatstaff and LibraryH3lp.

Corey Wetherington and Scott Wagner were chosen for developing, testing, deploying, and sharing ShelfReader, a web application that both improves the accuracy of shelf reading of collections with LC call numbers and helps library employees identify item record metadata errors, thereby improving the ability of patrons to locate specific call numbers in library collections or browse effectively.
