Ilana Stonebraker has been elected the 2023-24 President-Elect of the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA). Stonebraker will serve her Presidential term during 2024-25.

Ilana Stonebraker is Head Business/SPEA Library and Interim Director of Scholars Commons- Branches (Associate Librarian) at Indiana University Bloomington. In her role at IU, Ilana serves as the primary contact to faculty, students, and staff of the Kelley School of Business and the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) with a staff who provide core services such as instruction, reference, circulation, and reserves. She also serves as the subject specialist for Economics and Interim Department Head for two other libraries.
Ilana was RUSA BRASS Chair 2019-2020. She holds a MSI, with a specialization in Library and Information Services, Preservation of Information, from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s in History from the University of Washington.
