CHICAGO- The RUSA History Section Preconference:  Research in the Heart of America: Chicago Area Resources for Genealogy and Local History will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the Harold Washington Library.

Join us to learn about the rich resources available for genealogy and local history research in and around Chicago, the Heart of America. Hear about collections of local libraries, archives, and genealogical/historical societies including the Chicago Public Library, Newberry Library, Afro-American Genealogical and Historical Society of Chicago (AAGHSC), Illinois State Genealogical Society, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library, and more.
