The 4th Annual RUSA Virtual Forum was held March 4 & 6, 2025 with the theme “Meeting Users’ Needs (EDIA)”.
This year’s forum kicked off with a Keynote presentation from ALA Office of Intellectual Freedom staff Joyce McIntosh and Eric Stroshan “Where Access Meets Advocacy: Intellectual Freedom and Reference Services” and closed with a timely presentation titled “Engaging Diverse Library Communities” by the ALA Office on Diversity, Literacy and Outreach Services staff Kevin Strowder and Hillary Pearson.
Speakers from five of RUSA’s six sections as well as the Financial Literacy Interest Group and Artificial Intelligence in Reference & User Services Interest Group presented timely and applicable sessions supporting the theme:

The RUSA Virtual Forum offers an economical, virtual venue to learn about reference and user services. The forum is open to ALL librarians and library workers. RUSA membership is not required.
