RUSA STARS members;
The American Library Association election ballot in March 2026 will ask the STARS membership to vote on whether or not to replace our current STARS Bylaws (2020) with a revised and updated version submitted by the STARS Organization Committee and approved by the STARS Executive Committee this past summer. A two-thirds majority of those members voting is needed for passage.

You are cordially invited to attend a STARS Virtual Town Hall this Fall where RUSA STARS Chair Renna Redd and members of the STARS Organization Committee will discuss the proposed Bylaws.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Zoom meeting. The meeting will include a brief presentation followed by a Q&A discussion session. Questions regarding the proposed Bylaws can also be submitted to the presenters in advance using this survey. The presentation portion of the meeting will be recorded.
