CODES will be active at the 2017 ALA Annual Conference in Chicago! CODES committees and other groups without a set meeting time should please feel free to use the CODES All Committee Meeting on Saturday 6/24/2017 from 10:30-11:30 am (Blackstone Hotel, Taste Meeting Room). This is also a good chance to chat with CODES leadership! There is no need to register; just stop by.
CODES is seeking volunteers who are interested in serving on the Reference Publishing Advisory Committee (RPAC) (http://www.ala.org/rusa/contact/rosters/codes/rus-codreft ). As reference publishing and reference services continue to change, RPAC is evolving too. If you are interested in being a part of this transformation, please contact CODES Chair Daniel Mack at dmack@udm.edu. RPAC will meet on Saturday 6/24/2017 from 4:30-5:30 pm (Palmer House, LaSalle 1).
Please join your CODES and other RUSA members on Sunday 6/25/2017 from 5-6:30 pm for the RUSA Achievements Awards Ceremony and Reception (Hyatt Regency McCormick, Regency Ballroom A & B). This is a great opportunity to celebrate your colleagues’ achievements as you learn more about their accomplishments.
CODES leadership has finished making most appointments to CODES committees. Appointments to CODES committees are generally made in the spring but volunteers are welcome anytime. Just complete the committee volunteer form at http://www.ala.org/rusa/members/volunteer to volunteer for next spring.
