The History Section program, “Chicago as a Model for Public History: Initiatives and Collaborations,” will take place on Saturday, June 24, from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM in the McCormick Place, W178a. Panelists include

  • Dr. Erik Gellman, Chicago Labor Trail, Roosevelt University;
  • Dr. Peter Alter, Forty Blocks: The East Garfield Park Oral History Project, Chicago History Museum;
  • Hope Shannon from Loyola’s Public History Lab at Loyola University Chicago.
