An online HS Membership & Informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, 1:00-2:00pm Central. More details will be posted to history-l, Facebook, and Twitter.
The RUSA Genealogy Institute Midwinter pre-conference, sponsored by ProQuest, will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020, 8:00am-4:00pm. This event is complimentary, but registration is required, and space is limited, so reserve your spot now.
The Local History committee is compiling a list of local historical attractions (with some discounts being offered for ALA attendees!) for the Midwinter conference in Philadelphia.
The Historical Materials committee is reviewing finalists for the year’s Best Historical Materials list. Winners will be announced at Midwinter and reviews will be published in an upcoming issue of RUSQ.
The Executive Committee continues working on final edits and updates to the section handbook.
