How are conference events promoted?

Based on RUSA's marketing strategy, midwinter and annual events are promoted in the following ways:

Ticketed Preconferences/Institutes, President’s Program and Special Events:

  • News post on rusaupdate.org
  • Bi-weekly email to RUSA members
  • Individual social media posts 
  • Bi-weekly email to RUSA listservs
  • Sent to Cognotes for print publication during conference
Free preconferences/institutes and free programs are not promoted by division staff. Any additional promotion is the responsibility of the presenter/speaker. All sessions and events are also included in ALA conference marketing and promotions. Frequency is subject to change.
